The mission of IBIM Girls is to empower girls to B.E.L.I.E.V.E (Become Emerging Leaders Inspiring Excellence and Values Everyday) through group mentoring and leadership training necessary to become responsible, productive and successful members of our community.

We envision a community in which every girl develops into their full potential, capable of making informed, responsible decisions as involved members of our community. Through mentorship we nurture their goals, aspirations and ambitions while encouraging them to flourish into their full potential.

• Support healthy lifestyles by offering health and fitness programs;
• Campaign against violence, drug abuse, alcohol abuse and sexual misbehavior among youth;
• Encourage giving back by providing monthly community service project;
• Encourage money management and entrepreneurship by offering business and finance and entrepreneurship programs;
• Encourage post graduate education by discussing the possibilities of a college education, visiting local colleges, offering assistance with application submissions and providing scholarships to qualifying participants.
IBIM Girls Story
Reflecting upon my adolescent years, growing up in a single parent home, I thank God for the strong, confident, caring individuals placed in my life. Ones who supported and held me to a higher standard.
I, like many young girls today, was insecure, impressionable and unclear of my true worth and value, this resulted in many poor life choices. However, through the guidance, support and prayers of trusted mentors, I came to realize that I was bright and beautiful, and possessed a boldness created by God for a specific purpose.
Now, as an adult, I feel an obligation to give back, thus I have committed my life to helping empower the next generation of young girls gracefully transition from adolescence to womanhood. My goal is to create a safe space for them to learn, grow, and be themselves without judgment allowing their inner light to shine bright. I believe, despite the challenges young girls face today, if she has a true understanding of her value and exercises her full potential, she can overcome any odds and become everything she was created to be.
It is my hope that my contribution will make a change for the better…one child, one family, one community at a time.
